HHC Elmhurst

New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation, an integrated health care system of hospitals, neighborhood health centers, long-term care, nursing homes and home care needed a new Emergency Department to address the growing needs of New York City’s diverse populations. CMI subcontracted with Lothrop Associates to provide wayfinding and signage design to integrate into legacy systems and function with current ADA guidelines to meet the healthcare needs of the ED for today and beyond. Deliverables included multilanguage elements; directional signs for interior and exterior shell and core.
