CORNING MUSEUM OF GLASS
The ongoing transformation of the 5,000-square-foot changing gallery included built-in exhibit components such as a 3/4-size 15th-Century glass kiln, complete with furnace visual effects, and an alchemist’s studio diorama. Touch-screen video monitors describing the types of vessels were positioned throughout the space at key milestones in the exhibition.

Czech Glass
The largest gathering of postwar Czechoslovakian glass ever seen in the United States. The Corning Museum of Glass 5,000 SF exhibition features a wide array of dazzling objects, including tour de force sculptures, that shed light on the innovations of Czech designers and artists who, working in the wake of World War II and under Communist rule, invented new ways of painting and creating sculptural forms in glass.
